Perinatal Trauma Rewind
The Three Step Rewind technique is a gentle and effective method to help you move past birth and perinatal trauma, enabling you to lead a full and happy life again with a renewed sense of wellbeing.
Our aim is to support parents and families to live their lives to the fullest, reset their goals, and move past their trauma to a place of peace, happiness, and contentment.
"Thank you! I can sleep better at night! My perinatal time led me to postnatal depression, feeling inadequate as a parent and not being able to talk about my birth. Since having rewind I feel a weight has been lifted off my shoulders and I can sleep again."

About trauma rewind
Is the Three Step Rewind technique right for you?
Perinatal trauma can take many forms beyond birth trauma, including breastfeeding trauma, pregnancy panic attacks, a new born who was unwell, a NICU stay or even childhood trauma. You don’t need to have experienced what people may consider an emergency or close to death experience, it can simply be an experience that’s uncomfortable for you to think about.
You may benefit from Three Step Rewind if you experience:
Flashbacks
Replaying the difficult situation repeatedly in your mind
A sense of heaviness about what happened
Avoidance of situations where you might have to talk about the birth
Anxiety when thinking about the incident
Overprotectiveness towards your baby
Inability to sleep due to the memories
You do not need to experience all these symptoms to benefit, and there may be others not listed here.
Is Three Step Rewind suitable for everyone?
To benefit from this process, it is important to have been in good mental health before the distressing situation occurred. It may not be suitable for individuals with long term depression or very complex cases of PTSD. All clients will be assessed to check suitability before Three Step Rewind can take place, or whether another mode of therapy may be more suitable.
How does it work?
Three Step Rewind is a gentle and empathetic approach to recovery. This therapeutic technique can be transformative, helping to break the neural pathways in your brain that trigger the fight, flight, or freeze response when reminded of your trauma. These automatic responses cause unwanted symptoms. By disrupting these pathways, the memories of the traumatic event can be stored in your long term memory rather than remaining at the forefront of your mind and bothering you regularly.
